I went to Vegas last month w/ my friend. I was determinedto meet Criss--I thought that this would be easy. Almost as soon as we got to our hotel, my friend became a total weirdo, basically leaving me alone to do everything by myself. We stayed at the Venetian and I decided to walk to the Luxor. . It was 105 degrees out, I couldnt afford a cab ( the hotel was prepaid by my friends work). It took me 45 minutes, and I almost fainted several times from the heat. At the Luxor, I was informed Criss was in town, but not making appearances, I hung around for awhile, hoping he would show up! After no avail, I began my 45 minute journey back to the hotel. And the next day i tried it again. This time, my feet had sooo many painful blisters, and I limped down the strip. It took me almost an hour and a half. At the Luxor they told me Criss was wearing a green hat-that they had just seen him. Once again I waited...this time so exhausted and almost crying because I knew I still had to walk back. Even after I had given up on the idea of meeting him, I still couldnt move from the air conditioned, suddenly super comfortable Luxor casino. But I eventually limped back.At home the next day, I couldnt walk OR move my lips because they had gotten extremely sunburned and blistered. I could only suck on ice. It took a month for my lips to heal. And now I also have scars on my feet. And nothing to show for it. ! When I go next month, i will be more prepared. ;)
